Section K9 part 2

Posted by Madara - June 22nd, 2013

As Cifer left the office of Dr. Williams after his vow to start a rebellion to cleanse the government of corruption he started to realize something whenever he began to think. He put his right hand up to his head as ringing in his ears brought the man down to his knees, he stayed there for ten seconds before being able to stand up again. The Doctor forgot to mention a huge piece of information to Cifer but he was already out the door and running, looking for followers. Cifer then began to feel his pocket vibrate and realized the Doctor had slipped a phone into his pocket, he reached inside and flipped it open and put his ear to it, saying Hello. The Doctor then spoke to Cifer, concern in his voice, "Hello there Cifer, I had forgot to mention a huge piece of information to you about the K9 project. This may be hard on you seeing as the psychical state you are in. The K9 project has one fatal flaw. Since we had to remove the right side of your brain for the surgery to work, well... The right side of the brain controls attention, organization, reasoning, problem solving, and social communications, although none of these are a problem because the K9 project increases all of these. There is one in which we can't stop, and that is memory Cifer. You could possibly recover your memory, or never recover it." As the Doctor spoke in his worried tone Cifer began to realize he couldn't remember any of his childhood, his friends or even if he himself had a wife or a child. He didn't even know much about himself. The stress of the phone-call caused Cifer to drop to his knees one again and drop the phone onto the ground. His body shocked with disbelief. Dr. Williams hung up his phone after he heard Cifer's silence on the other side of the phone, knowing it would be hard for the man to grasp. Hope, standing up the other side of the room held her head low, almost as if she has had a similar experience. Dr. Williams walked back into his office and began to route threw some of his papers.

Cifer got to his feet, his hands inside of his pockets and his head low, he kicked a stone down the alleyway as he was walking. The dark clouds hanging above, rain began to hit the shoulders of his brown trench-coat. He wondered if it might have been a good idea to leave him there dead on the ground so that his mind wouldn't have to bare this burden. He turned a corner down a street as the rain started to fly from the sky faster and faster. The citizens around him began to cover their heads and run for shelter. He then noticed a girl in front of him with long black hair looking straight at him; he noticed her eyes were filled with a certain look that was very threatening. Cifer stopped in his tracks and stared back at the women. The girl smirked and turned around in the opposite direction and walked away into the rainy shadows of the day. Cifer's left eyebrow raised as he shook his head and thought to himself if he might have knew the girl in his past self. He looked into his pocket and noticed his card of residence. He walked in the direction of where his home was located. He came upon a good sized one story house. He grabbed a hold of the door handle and walked slowly inside; he took off his boots and looked around noticing his bedroom. He took off his coat and laid down on the soft surface of the bed. He laid there thinking to himself that he would find out more tomorrow about himself by looking here as he drifted off to a deep sleep.
